Along this month, we've been working on the parts of the body. We met a robot, Rodney and we learnt the parts of the body through some robot songs and games. Every child created a picture of a robot and here you have the results. Every child made a video explaining how their robot is like.
Al llarg d'aquest trimestre, hem estat treballant en les parts del cos. Hem conegut un robot, Rodney i hem après les parts del cos a través de cançons de robots i jocs. Cada nen va crear un dibuix sobre un robot aqui teniu els resultats. Cada nen va fer un video explicant com era el seu robot.

P3 The animals
Hello families!!
We are working on animals this month and they love it!They know the rabbit, the cat and the bird. They move and "talk" as the animals do. I made some magic. I took some animal flashcards out of the hat and they were guessing what animal it was. And they did it pretty well!!
Estem treballant els animals en aquest mes i els encanta! Saben els noms de conill, gat i ocell. Ells es mouen i fan el soroll que els animals fan. Vaig fer una mica de màgia. Vaig treure alguns dibuixos d'animals del barret i ells endevinàven quin era. I ho van fer bastant bé!!

En aquesta activitat sèien en cercle i jo escollia un nen. El nen/a havía de simular l'animal que deia i la resta endevinar-ho.

P3 The colours
Hello families!!
In this moment we are working on colours. The children know the colours: blue, red, yellow and green. We play some games to learn the colours. Today I present you one of the games they love to play. I place the colour flashcards on the floor and a group of 4 or 5 children moves around the class while the music is played. When the music stops the children listen to the colour and run to it. Sometimes they're wrong but it's just a matter of time!!Enjoy the videos and ask your children the colours!!Remember: What colour is it?

En aquest moment estem treballant els colors. Els alumnes saben els colors: blau, vermell, groc i verd. Fem jocs per aprendre els colors. Avui us presento un dels jocs que els encanta jugar. Col·loco quatre cartes sobre el terra i en grups de 4 o 5 nens es mouen per la classe mentres la música sona. Quan la música para els nens escolten el color i corren cap aquest. De vegades s'equivoques però nomès és qüestió de temps!! Gaudiu dels videos i pregunteu als nens els colors!!Recordeu: "What colour is it?

We watched a video. It's a Pocoyo video and it's about colours. They enjoyed watching it because they recognized the colours in English!

Year 6 The planets
In this last week we've been working on the planets. We have discovered lots of interesting things about the Solar System as: the name of the planets, the characteristics of every planet, the distances, space vocabulary and the elements. With some of that information, the students have created a new planet with different characteristics and its own alien!!Look, listen and imagine a new planet as they describe it!!

En aquesta última setmana hem estat treballant en els planetes. Hem descobert moltes coses interessants sobre el Sistema Solar com: el nom dels planetes, les característiques de cada planeta, les distàncies, el vocabulari de l'espai i els elements. Amb aquesta informació, els estudiants han creat un nou planeta amb caracterñistiques diferents i el seu propi alien!!Mireu, escolteu i imagineu un nou planets com ells el descriuen!!

Year 5 The spies
We have finished the Spies unit! This unit was very funny because we have seen the objects that the spies use to observe others. We have prepared a special video in which the students act like spies. They invented the dialogues, camera movements ...everything! It is a mini film about spies. The students really loved the experience of taking care about all the production process and moreover, they know how difficult it is to make a film!!Hem acabat la unitat dels espies! Aquesta unitat era molt divertida per que hem vist els objectes que els espies usen per observar els altres. Hem preparat un vídeo especial en el qual els alumnes actuen com espies. Ells han inventat els diàlegs, moviments de càmera...tot! Això és una mini pel·lícula sobre espies. Els alumnes realment els ha agradat molt l'experiència d'encarregar-se de tot el procés de producció i a més, ara saben com és de difícil fer una pel·lícula i ho valoren més.

Year 2 The clothes
This week we have finished the clothes unit. The students have learnt the name of some clothes and the weather. Today we show you a video song about the clothes and some dialogues about the weather and the clothes they must to put on. Have a look!Aquesta setmana hem acabat la unitat de la roba. Els alumnes han après el nom d'algunes peces de roba i el temps. Avui us mostrem una cançó-vídeo sobre la roba i alguns diàlegs sobre el temps i la roba que han de posar-se. Feu una ullada!
